Three ways a match is priced for crypto rugby betting

Match result. Either a two-way market (home or away, with the draw settled by the market's own rule) or a three-way market with the draw as a separate outcome. Draws are uncommon in rugby, which is why the three-way draw price is long. Example only: 21.00 on the draw in a close Test, against 1.85 and 2.05 on the sides. Those are our estimates of a typical shape.

Handicap. One side starts with a points start, the other with a deficit. Half-point lines (minus 6.5, plus 6.5) cannot tie. Whole-number lines (minus 7) can land exactly, and the stake usually comes back on a tie. Our bet types guide sets out how push rules are worded.

Winning margin. The result cut into bands, for example home by 1–12, home by 13 or more, away by 1–12, away by 13 or more, and the draw. The bands differ from book to book. A band of 1–12 swallows almost every one-score win, so the price on it is short; the value, when it exists, is usually in the band just past the key number.

What the draw does to each bet

A drawn rugby match is rare enough that bettors forget to read the rule, and common enough to cost money a few times a season. The effect depends on the market:

• Two-way result. Some markets return the stake on a draw; others treat a draw as a loss for both sides. Read the market name.
• Three-way result. The draw is its own outcome and is paid at its own price.
• Handicap at a half-point. A draw is just another score; the line still decides the bet.
• Winning margin. The draw usually has its own band.
• Accumulators. A void leg drops out and the rest of the slip continues at reduced odds; a losing leg ends it. See our accumulator guide for the arithmetic.

Union competition tables give four points for a win and two for a draw, with a bonus point for four tries and another for losing by seven or fewer. The Six Nations adds three more points for a Grand Slam so that a side winning all five games cannot be overtaken on bonus points. Those bonus points feed outright and top-two markets, not single-match results.

November 2026: the first Nations Championship finals

The November window this year is part of a new competition. Twelve teams sit in two pools: the six Six Nations sides, and a southern pool of Argentina, Australia, Fiji, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa. Each side plays every team in the other pool across the July and November windows. Rounds 4 to 6 fall in November:

The finals weekend runs from 27 to 29 November at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, with teams matched by finishing position: first in one pool against first in the other for the title, and so on down the table. Rugby league has its own November. The Rugby League World Cup runs from 15 October to 15 November across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea, with ten men's teams, Australia against New Zealand in Sydney on the opening night and the final at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The final Saturday is the one to plan around. Three matches run back to back, and the title can turn on bonus points in the last game.
