What a visit leaves on this site, and what never does.
Reading a match preview should not cost you your data. Nothing on this site asks you to sign in, and nothing sets an advertising cookie. Here is the short list of what the server does record.
What the server records
- Visit counts. A counter we host ourselves notes the page opened, the page you came from, an approximate country derived from the IP address, and the browser and device type. It sets no cookie and does not store the IP address.
- Server logs. Every web server writes a line per request: IP address, time, address requested and browser. We use these lines to keep the site running and to block abuse, and delete them on a rolling basis.
- Outbound presses. Buttons that lead to a sportsbook pass through a short redirect on this domain. The redirect shows up in the same logs, which is how we count presses.
What never happens
- No account, newsletter or comment form, so we never collect a name, email or wallet address through the site.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and no sale or rental of data.
- No social media widgets that report your visit to a third party.
- No request, ever, for a private key or recovery phrase. Anyone asking for one in our name is not us.
Fonts and images
Fonts and images are served from this domain, so loading a page does not send your address to a font or image service.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Because we store no names or accounts, in practice this means server log lines tied to an IP address, which are deleted on a rolling basis anyway. Write to [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, the date in the page header changes with it. How the pages themselves are researched is set out on the methodology page, and the people who write them are on the editorial page.
