Betting on sport with SOL: which books take it, and what the chain charges

Five of the sportsbooks we follow name SOL in their own cashier lists or rules, and Vave, our first pick, sits above them for bettors who also hold a stablecoin. They are ordered by how much of the payout path each one commits to in writing.

Solana sports betting rests on two questions, and only one of them is about the blockchain: which sportsbook will take your SOL, and what it promises about sending it back. Of the twelve operators this site follows, five name SOL on their own pages, and a sixth, Vave, sits above them because a bettor who holds SOL usually holds a stablecoin too.

The chain side is quick to summarise. A transfer on Solana carries a base fee of 5,000 lamports per signature, and a lamport is a billionth of one SOL, so the network cost of a deposit is a sliver of a coin. That shifts all the attention to the operator: how long it takes to approve a withdrawal, whether a ceiling applies, and whether the payout has to leave in the same coin it arrived in.

The ranking below reflects exactly that. Every line comes from the operator's own terms, cashier or FAQ page, read between 24 August and 12 September 2026; a gap means the operator did not print the figure where we looked, not that the rule is missing.

How to read the table: start from the second row if SOL is the only coin you hold, because Vave's list stops at BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, DOGE and TON. The order after Vave follows the written payout path, from the operator that states both a time and a ceiling down to those that state neither. The verdict says how much is in writing, not how good the prices are on a given match.

The five books that name SOL, row by row

Wild.io lists twelve coins, SOL among them. It states withdrawals in 10 to 60 minutes and caps them at $100,000 a week under clause 9.6. Of the five, it writes down the most about the trip back to your wallet.

Rainbet names SOL in its home page FAQ beside BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, TRX, BNB, USDT and USDC. The 5 to 15 minute withdrawal figure is home page copy rather than a numbered clause. The terms themselves set a minimum withdrawal of $15 per transaction in clause 8.1, put a 1x wager lock on crypto deposits in clause 8.7, and warn in clause 7.9 that a coin or network the cashier does not support may be lost for good.

Rakebit lists fifteen coins, including SOL. It prints a ceiling of €10,000 in any 24 hours and checks identity on a risk basis; no payout time is stated.

DuckDice lists ten coins, SOL and TRX among them. Neither a payout time nor a ceiling appears in the pages we read, so it sits lower.

CoinPoker keeps the shortest list of the five: BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL and TRX. It prints no payout period or ceiling.

Which of these suits your Solana sports betting depends less on the coin than on how you withdraw. A bettor who cashes out after every evening's football gains most from a short stated approval time; one who lets a balance build up should look first at the ceiling.

What a SOL transfer does on the chain

Solana's fee has two parts. The base fee is fixed per signature, and the documentation splits it evenly: half is burned, half goes to the validator that processed the transaction. On top of that sits an optional priority fee, which goes wholly to the validator and buys a better place in the queue when the network is busy. A wallet usually sets the priority part for you; on a quiet day it can be close to nothing.

Finality is reached when nodes representing two-thirds of the stake share a common root. Before that, a block can be “confirmed” once a supermajority has voted on it. A sportsbook decides for itself which of those states it waits for before crediting a deposit, and none of the books above prints a SOL-specific figure. Rainbet's FAQ says deposits are credited automatically at one blockchain confirmation, across coins.

Two details trip up first-time senders. Tokens other than SOL sit in a separate token account, derived from your wallet address and the token's mint, so a wallet may show SOL and a token held on Solana as two balances with two different behaviours. And accounts must keep a minimum lamport balance, tied to the data they store, to stay rent-exempt. In practice: leave a little SOL behind every time you send, and the wallet will not refuse the next transfer.

Before the first deposit: the cashier screen

The cashier shows an address and, depending on the operator, a network label and possibly a memo field. Treat each as a separate check:

  1. The coin label. It should say SOL on Solana. A token with a similar ticker on another chain is a different asset, and Rainbet's clause 7.9 is blunt about what happens to an unsupported deposit.
  2. The address after pasting. Compare the first and last few characters with the screen. Never type an address by hand.
  3. The memo. Fill it only if the cashier asks for one.
  4. A test amount. At a base fee measured in lamports, a small first deposit costs almost nothing and proves the route.

On a phone the same checks apply, only on a smaller screen; our guide to the crypto sports betting app walks through them with a wallet open alongside.

SOL inside a bet: the price keeps moving

A sportsbook settles in the coin you staked. That sounds neutral, but it means the outcome has two parts: the bet and the coin price over the life of the bet.

An example, with round numbers chosen only to show the arithmetic: stake 2 SOL on a single at odds of 2.50. If it wins, the return is 5 SOL. If SOL falls 10% between kick-off and withdrawal, those 5 SOL are worth what 4.5 SOL were worth when you placed the bet. If it rises 10%, they are worth 5.5. A losing bet costs 2 SOL whatever the price does.

For a football single settled in two hours, that drift is usually small. For an ante-post bet on a title decided next spring, the coin can move further than the odds. That is the main reason Solana sports betting tends to suit short markets, while long holds go into a dollar stablecoin; the trade-offs of keeping stakes in Tether are on our usdt sports betting page, and in-play staking is on the live crypto sportsbooks list.

Getting SOL back out

A withdrawal waits twice. First the operator approves it, under whatever period its terms set; then the network carries it. On Solana the second wait is short, so in practice almost all the time between request and arrival belongs to the operator. That is why the table ranks payout terms rather than chain speed, and why Solana sports betting is really a question about the operator's clock.

Rules on the way out to read before the first deposit:

  • Same method. Rainbet's clause 8.4 ties a withdrawal to the method used to deposit. Plan to take winnings out in SOL if you paid in SOL.
  • Wagering before withdrawal. Rainbet's 1x lock means a deposit must be staked once before it can leave.
  • Ceilings. Wild.io caps at $100,000 a week and Rakebit at €10,000 in any 24 hours. Most bettors never reach either, but a large win can be paid in parts.
  • Identity checks. None of the five prints a fixed amount that triggers documents; all keep the right to ask.

If the speed of the payout matters more to you than the coin, start with the fast withdrawal crypto sportsbooks list instead.

How SOL compares with the neighbouring coin pages

For Solana sports betting, SOL is one of several cheap, quick chains a sportsbook cashier may offer, and the right one depends on what you already hold. The comparison with TRON is closest: both are cheap to move, but TRON fees are paid through bandwidth and energy, which our page on tron sports betting explains. If you hold bitcoin, betting on sport with bitcoin involves slower blocks and higher fees on small sums. India-based bettors, for whom SOL and TRX are common, will find kick-off times and the coin route on the crypto sports betting India page.

For the wider choice, our ranking of the best crypto sports betting sites orders all twelve operators by sport, and the crypto bookmakers list compares them on the cashier as a whole. To work out what a deposit costs from bank to bet slip, use the crypto deposit fee calculator, and our rating method explains how the order above was set.

Solana sports betting works best when the deposit limit is set before the first match, not after a bad weekend; the tools are on our responsible gambling page.

Which sportsbooks accept SOL for Solana sports betting?
Of the operators we follow, Wild.io, Rainbet, Rakebit, DuckDice and CoinPoker name SOL on their own pages. Vave, at the top of the table, does not list SOL; a SOL holder funds it in one of the six coins it does name.
What does a SOL deposit cost on the network?
Solana's documentation sets the base fee at 5,000 lamports per signature, and one lamport is 0.000000001 SOL. Half of the base fee is burned and half goes to the validator. An optional priority fee is added on top when the network is busy and goes entirely to the validator.
Why does my wallet ask me to keep some SOL back?
Every transfer pays its fee in SOL, and accounts on Solana must hold a minimum lamport balance tied to the data they store to stay rent-exempt. Sending the entire balance can leave too little for either.
Is SOL a good coin to hold a long-running bet in?
For a match settled the same evening, the price risk is small. For an outright that settles months later, the coin's price can move far more than the odds suggest. Many bettors keep SOL for quick singles and a dollar stablecoin for anything long.
Do Solana sports betting deposits need a memo?
Follow the cashier. If it shows a memo or tag field, copy it exactly; if it shows only an address, send to the address alone. Never add a field the cashier did not ask for, and send a small first deposit to any new address.
