System Bet Calculator: Full-Cover Bets and Round Robins
A system bet turns a handful of selections into every double, treble and bigger combination between them. This calculator settles any of them, from a three-selection Trixie to a 247-bet Goliath or a round robin of your own size, and shows how much the slip really costs before you place it.
A single accumulator dies with its weakest leg. A system bet spreads the same selections over many smaller combinations, so two or three winners out of four still pay something. The price is the number of bets: a Yankee is eleven stakes, a Goliath two hundred and forty-seven. This system bet calculator counts them, settles each one and adds up the return.

How to use the system bet calculator
- Pick the bet type. The calculator opens on a system of doubles from three selections. Choose a named full-cover bet, from Trixie to Goliath, or keep System (N from M) to set your own sizes.
- Enter each selection's price in decimal, fractional or American odds.
- Set the stake per bet or as a total for the slip. A total is divided equally between all the bets.
- Mark each result: won, lost, void or a dead heat. The return updates as you go, so you can see what two winners out of four would pay before any match kicks off.
Full-cover bets by size
| Bet | Selections | Bets on the slip | Made of |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trixie | 3 | 4 | 3 doubles, 1 treble |
| Patent | 3 | 7 | 3 singles, 3 doubles, 1 treble |
| Yankee | 4 | 11 | 6 doubles, 4 trebles, 1 fourfold |
| Lucky 15 | 4 | 15 | 4 singles plus a Yankee |
| Super Yankee (Canadian) | 5 | 26 | 10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 fourfolds, 1 fivefold |
| Lucky 31 | 5 | 31 | 5 singles plus a Super Yankee |
| Heinz | 6 | 57 | 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 fourfolds, 6 fivefolds, 1 sixfold |
| Lucky 63 | 6 | 63 | 6 singles plus a Heinz |
| Super Heinz | 7 | 120 | every combination of 2 to 7 |
| Goliath | 8 | 247 | every combination of 2 to 8 |
The “lucky” versions add the singles, which is why one winner returns something. The others start at doubles and need two winners before anything comes back.
A Yankee, worked by hand
Four selections at 2.00, 2.50, 3.00 and 1.80, at 1 USDT per bet. Eleven bets, so the slip costs 11 USDT.
- All four win. The six doubles return 32.00, the four trebles 48.30, the fourfold 27.00. Total back: 107.30 USDT.
- Three win (the 1.80 loses). Three doubles at 5.00, 6.00 and 7.50, and one treble at 15.00. Total back: 33.50 USDT, a profit of 22.50.
- Two win (2.00 and 2.50). One double at 5.00. Total back: 5.00 USDT against 11 staked, a loss of 6.00.
That last line is the one most people miss. A full-cover bet protects you from losing everything when one leg fails, but at short prices two winners from four often return less than the stake. Check it in the calculator before deciding that the cover is worth paying for.
System bets and the margin
Every combination carries the margin of each leg it contains, multiplied. A four-leg slip at a 5 % margin per leg compounds to about 18.5 % on the fourfold, and the trebles and doubles inside a Yankee each carry their own compounded share. A system bet does not dilute the margin; it buys more of it in exchange for the cover. Our accumulators guide shows the compounding step by step.
Round robins: choose your own size
The System (N from M) option is the round robin. Pick the selections, then tick the sizes you want: only the doubles, only the trebles, or any mix. Five selections with doubles only is ten bets; doubles and trebles together is twenty. North American sportsbooks call this “round robin by 2s” or “by 3s”; European books write “2/5” or “3/5”. The arithmetic is the same.
System bets with a crypto stake
Two things change. First, the unit is small: at 0.0001 BTC per bet a Goliath costs 0.0247 BTC, so check what the sportsbook's minimum stake per line is before building a 247-line slip. Second, the slip stays open until the last selection settles, which on a weekend of football can be three days. If your balance is in a volatile coin, its value moves while the bets wait. Staking in a stablecoin removes that layer; the bankroll guide covers how to size units either way.
