Boxing bets paid in crypto: the draw, the round and the cards
Boxing is the one major sport where the draw is a live outcome you can price. This guide explains the three-way fight result, method and round-group markets, how judges' scorecards decide a bet, what a postponed bout does to your stake, and which title fights are on the schedule for late 2026.

Most sports give you two sides. A boxing match gives you three, and the third one — the draw — is the outcome that catches people out. Before you look at any price, decide whether the market you are about to bet counts a level scorecard as a loss, a refund or a winner.
What the rulebook says about a fight's result
The Unified Boxing Rules published by the Association of Boxing Commissions are the clearest reference; a local commission may differ in detail. The parts a bettor needs fit on one card.
- A men's bout is scheduled for twelve rounds at most and a women's for ten. Rounds last three minutes for men and two for women, with one minute of rest between them.
- Three judges score every round on the 10-point must system: the winner of a round gets ten points, the loser nine or fewer.
- The referee runs the fight but does not score it.
- An accidental foul that ends a bout before four completed rounds produces a no decision.
- The same stoppage after four completed rounds sends the bout to the cards, and the boxer ahead wins by technical decision. If an intentional foul causes an injury that ends the fight later and the injured boxer is level or behind, it is a technical draw.
Those last two lines decide more bets than people expect. A no decision is not a win for anyone, so a fight-result bet on it is normally void. A technical decision is a decision, which matters for method markets.
Fight result and the draw
The headline market in crypto boxing betting is the three-way fight result. Take a heavyweight bout priced (our example only) at 1.70, 2.40 and 21.00 for the draw. The draw price looks absurd until you remember what it covers: three judges, up to twelve rounds in a men's bout, and a scoring system where one even round shifts the total.
Two other versions of the same question exist.
Draw no bet removes the draw: if the cards are level, your stake comes back. The price on each boxer is shorter to pay for that protection.
Two-way moneyline, where offered, does the same thing by rule rather than by name. The market description tells you which you are holding.
| Market | Draw on the cards | No decision | Technical decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| Three-way fight result | Only the draw wins | Usually void | Counts as a win for the boxer awarded it |
| Draw no bet | Stake returned | Usually void | Counts as a win |
| Method of victory | Loses unless “draw” is an option | Usually void | Settles as “points” or “decision” |
| Round group | Loses | Usually void | Settles as “points” or “decision” |
The “usually” in that table is deliberate: the sportsbook's own boxing rule overrides any general pattern.
Method, rounds and round groups in crypto boxing betting
Method of victory asks how the winner gets there: KO/TKO, points (decision) or disqualification. Some markets combine method and boxer, which gives six or more outcomes in one list.
Round betting names a boxer and an exact round. In a twelve-round fight that is twenty-four possible stoppages before you add the points options, so prices are long.
Round groups bundle the rounds — typically 1–3, 4–6, 7–9 and 10–12 — and pay less than an exact round but more than the plain method. They suit a view such as “the champion wears him down late”.
Total rounds is an over/under line. A line of 7.5 is crossed at the midpoint of the eighth round: one minute thirty seconds into it in a men's bout, where a round lasts three minutes. Stoppage before that minute and a half lands under.

The operators above are ranked by how precisely their own rules say when documents are needed, which matters if a long-shot round pick lands. Bitcasino.io asks for documents on withdrawals over €2,500 (point 6.6). Rocketpot asks above 0.05 BTC or $2,500 (point 11.4) and gives 30 days to supply them. BetPlays asks on the first withdrawal (point 6.1). Vave may ask before any payout and allows 14 days (point 8.7). Rainbet gives 72 hours. Our ranking method lists every clause we look at.
Judges' scorecards and close fights
When a bout goes the distance, the bet is settled on the official decision read in the ring. There are three shapes to it:
- Unanimous — all three judges pick the same boxer.
- Split — two judges pick one boxer, the third picks the other.
- Majority — two judges pick one boxer, the third scores it level.
A draw can come from the same three judges: all level, two level, or three different cards that cancel out. Some books sell markets on the type of decision itself. Those settle on the announced verdict even if a commission later reviews the scoring.
For crypto boxing betting the practical question is when the money arrives. A late-night decision in Las Vegas or Riyadh lands in the early morning for a European bettor; if you plan to withdraw straight away, check the operator's printed time. Wild.io states 10–60 minutes and Vave up to 3 days (point 8.1).
Postponed, moved and changed bouts: crypto boxing betting rules to check
Boxing cards move. A cut in sparring, a failed medical, a visa problem: the reasons vary, the effect on a bet does not.
Postponed. Sportsbooks set a window. If the fight takes place within it, the bet stands; otherwise it is void. Read the number of days in your operator's rule.
Opponent changed. A bet names two boxers. A new opponent means a new fight, and the original bet is normally void.
Rounds or weight changed. If a bout is cut from twelve rounds to ten, round markets no longer match the fight. Many rules void them; the plain fight result may stand.
Venue changed. Usually irrelevant to settlement, unless the rule says the bet is void if the fight moves.

- 19 December — Anthony Cacace v Nick Ball, WBA super-featherweight title, Belfast.
A Tyson Fury v Anthony Joshua fight in Cardiff in December has been reported but was not on either official schedule when we checked, so treat any early market on it as exposed to the postponement rule above.
Where boxing sits among the fight sports
If you also bet MMA, the two rulebooks look alike and are not. The round length, the early-stoppage threshold and the way a draw is recorded differ; our UFC guide sets them out for the cage. Staking on long-priced round groups is easier to manage with a plan, and the bankroll guide has one. The sports hub lists every other sport we cover, and the main crypto sportsbook comparison ranks the operators across all of them. That is the short version of crypto boxing betting: know your draw rule, know your postponement window, then pick a price.
